PAREB MVRB CRESAR In Mandaluyong – Starting November 2010

PAREB MVRB (Marikina Valley Realtors® Board) is organizing a Comprehensive Real Estate Seminar and Review, or CRESAR. It costs P17,500 and is scheduled to begin on the 26th of November 2010…

The venue is the Legend Villas along Pioneer St. (near the Globe Tower, EDSA) in Mandaluyong City.

The CRESAR will run for fifteen 8-hour days starting November 26, 2010 (Friday). That gives you a total of 120 hours, in line with the requirements for the real estate brokers licensure exams, as provided in the RESA Law IRR.

The November 26 CRESAR session will be held from 1PM to 9PM.

That’s exactly 8 hours. So if you remove the time spent for snack breaks and dinner, we wonder if you will stay beyond 9PM to reach your goal of 120 hours (8 hours x 15 days).

Imagine… 8 straight hours of CRESAR. Can your brain absorb all of that? Can you sit in your seminar chair that long?

That’s why other people are also enrolling in the RESAR Online Review, to learn in a more comfortable environment where they have better control of their time.

NOTE: A CRESAR is a live, regular, face-to-face seminar. If it is conducted by an accredited service provider, then you should be able to get a Certificate of Completion, which you will then submit when applying at the PRC for an Examination Permit for the Real Estate Brokers’ Licensure Exams.

The RESAR Online Review, on the other hand, is a web-based membership site that uses a multimedia distance education approach to helping you learn and retain for longer periods of time various real estate concepts. It is not accredited, and will not earn you any credit units. It is purely optional, and is used to supplement your face-to-face training.

The PAREB-MVRB CRESAR won’t be a daily sked, though, since the second day will be on November 30, 2010 (Tuesday). And there’s no guarantee that the sessions will be every Tuesday and Friday.

The reservation fee is P5,000 while the balance of P12,500 may be paid in three installments, according to Ms. Weng, MVRB Secretariat.

Good luck to all aspiring Philippine real estate brokers! 🙂

UPDATE: Here is the schedule of the PAREB MVRB CRESAR. They are PRC-accredited, according to Ms. Weng Navarro.

WENG NAVARRO
PAREB-MARIKINA VALLEY REALTORS BOARD, INC.
secretariat

That’s quite a grueling schedule, wouldn’t you agree? Fifteen 8-hour days. With a RESAR Online Review, you can supplement your CRESAR learnings and retain the information longer, through the proven power of repetition.

With the RESAR Online Review, you can hear the speaker talk about the topic over and over again, as many times as you wish. And that will help drive the lessons deep into your mind, until it becomes second nature to you.

Just as “1 plus 1” has been driven deep into your mind that you automatically answer “2”, so too can repetition of real estate concepts help you rapidly answer questions asked of you, effortlessly and automatically.

How are the exams patterned? all multiple choice?
If we skip a class or two, can we still be certified as having taken the whole 120-hour seminar?

Syllabus and any other pertinent information would be great.

    thanks alot!!

[From the Admin] We don’t know what the PRC will do with the 2011 real estate brokers exams. In the past DTI real estate brokers exams, there were 100 multiple choice questions.

In past CRESARs, there was an attendance sheet. This will form the basis of determining how many hours or units you have earned.

If the review service provider values its accreditation status, it will not issue you a Certificate of Attendance for the full 120 hours if you were absent for one or more sessions.

According to the MVRB Secretariat (Ms Weng Navarro), they’re still finalizing the List of Topics. Hopefully it will be ready by next week. Thanks! 🙂

may i ask is this review the one required by PRC for the Board exam???? or just the same as the review that we have here online? thank you

[From the Admin] According to Ms. Weng Navarro (PAREB MVRB Secretariat), they are accredited by the PRC. This means that the 120 hours that they will deliver will comply with the requirements as provided in the RESA Law IRR.

Some of the topics will be similar to the topics covered in the RESAR Online Review. The approach, however, will be face-to-face because the CRESAR is an offline review.
