RESAR on Nov 29 2010 | Filed under: Real Estate Review
The Urban Institute of Real Estate is planning a Real Estate Review or 120-hour CRESAR or 120-hour CPE Seminar in Quezon City starting January 2011, if they are able to get accredited by the PRC…
They plan to conduct a 120-hour CPE Seminar for people who are preparing for the March 27, 2011 Real Estate Broker’s Exam.
Here’s the schedule:
Entire month of January and February 2011, starting 04 January 2011.
Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, for a total of 24 meetings. The CPE seminar will run from 8:30AM to 2:30PM at Max’s Restaurant in Gateway Mall, Cubao, Quezon City.
The plan is to have 12 meetings for core subjects, and 12 meetings for practicum. So that’s a total of 24 meetings.
The total fee is P20,000 (PESOS TWENTY THOUSAND) inclusive of lunch, handout, and certificate.
If you wish to reserve your slot, please bring a cheque (not cash) for P5,000 on December 8, 2010 at Max’s Gateway Mall in Cubao (between 1PM and 4PM only).
IMPORTANT: Please text your name to +63.9391379242 to confirm if you will be attending the December 8, 2010 meeting.
Your P5,000 check will be deposited no earlier than December 15, 2010 because the Urban Institute of Real Estate is awaiting accreditation by the PRC.

Remember, they are waiting for the go-signal from the PRC if they will be allowed to conduct this 120-hour CPE Seminar, and if participants will be credited and allowed to take the March 27, 2011 real estate brokers licensure exams.
how about 72units and 5years experience in real estate. can i take an exam? the requirements before is 72 units in college then 5years experience in real estate. So a 2yr or 4yr course or any duration of study which CHED implements will soon be a requirement for the licensure exam.
A holder of a RELEVANT bachelor’s degree from a state university or college, or
other educational institution duly recognized by the CHED; Provided,
That he/she has completed at least one hundred twenty (120) credit units of real estate subjects and training from accredited service providers, as may be determined by the Board;
Im calling and texting ur no’s listed… ur nos are not working. im interested for the review please contact me asap as to wer and wer will i pay tnx
its january 3, 2011 already and based on what i’ve read so far, PRC has not yet released the list of accredited review centers up to this time. Does this mean that the 120 credit units-seminar requirement is not yet stable?
Btw, I am an accounting graduate and planning to take the exam this march 27, 2011 and wondering if I will be qualified even I will not attend the review classes.
You will need to show the PRC proof of earning those 120 units. So far, it’s the CRESAR service providers (who already have an established reputation) who are offering 120-hour CRESARs.
In other words, at this point in time (and in the absence of other forms of 120 units of real estate subjects), you need to attend a CRESAR review.
Thanks!
hello again! thank you for the information. i was wondering if credit card payments are accepted for the payment of the fees mentioned. in addition, can you leave me a phone number that i can call/ contact so i know what to do to register for the CRES..thank you and God Bless!

Hello. The problem is I’m only 4th year college student right now. However, I can take the review classes during tuesday, wednesday and thursday starting january. I am also willing to pay P20 000 for this 120 hours/unit review required by the PRC.
May I know if I qualified to take the March 2011 broker examination?
Greetings,
Just want to know the status of Urban Institute if it´s already given a go-signal by the PRC to conduct the 120-hour CPE Seminar, and if participants will be credited and allowed to take the March 27, 2011 real estate brokers licensure exams. I prepare your venue to take the said review because it is very convenient and accessible for me. Can i still make a reservation for my slot & just in case, where can i go & who´s the right person to talk to?
Thanks & God bless.

Sir, I am an accounting graduate. I am a real estate agent since 2002, selling various subdivision projects, up to the present. Do I have to take the 120 CPE units to be qualified to take the Board exams for Real Estate Brokers. Thank you.
Hi sir, where can I avail the cheapest review providers since I believe 20 thousand is quite expensive compared to the previous reviews conducted and I’ve learned a lot in resar and excited to take the exam.. PS thanks for a very informative site..cheers! =)
Given the P20,000 pricing of other review service providers, we don’t know if those conducting CRESARs outside Metro Manila will follow suit, or will keep their prices lower than P20,000.
We’ll keep our ears open for other CRESAR offerings, and will post those as soon as we get word about their schedules and pricing.
Thanks!
this sounds very interesting. what if they do not get credited? does this mean that they will refund the money? are the other review centers accredited by the PRC? would you have a list?
We’re still on the lookout for any official PRC announcement regarding accredited review service providers. As soon as we find that info, we’ll post it online.
Thanks!
