    hi!

    re :

here in cebu, how can i gain that 120 units? thru school/institution? etc…
    can you provide some suggestions?

    thanks…

[From the Admin] Hello! We suggest you get in touch with the real estate brokers in Cebu. Sometimes, they will organize a 120-hour review for aspiring real estate brokers. Thanks!

when is the next schedule for the real estate appraiser? what are the requirements for taking the exam?

[From the Admin] We haven’t seen a PRC official announcement, but we heard from a Real Estate Appraisers’ Exam review service provider that the exam will be held in late July 2011.

You need a college diploma and 120 units in real estate appraiser subjects.

If ever a Real Estate Appraisers Exam does push through, please take note that the deadline for filing for your Exam Permit is usually 3 weeks before the actual exam.

    Thanks!

Magandang hapon po, I passed the REB exam last March and gusto ko rin po sana mag take ng appraiser exam sa July. I took the 120-hr REB seminar for the brokers exam and earned a certificate. Yaun po bang 120-hr RE seminar certificate na ginamit ko para mag test sa brokers exam eh pwede ko rin gamitin to take the appraiser exam? maraming salamat po.

[From the Admin] Hello! If you look at the RESA Law IRR (RA 9646), the 120 units does not state what kind of real estate subjects you need to earn (broker vs appraiser).

However, to improve your chances of scoring higher in the Real Estate Appraisers’ Licensure Exam, please attend a 120-hour Real Estate Seminar for RE Appraisers, because the topics there are different from the REB topics.

    Thanks!

Hi! Do you need to be a licensed real estate BROKER first before you are allowed to take the real estate APPRAISER’s exam? Tnx!

[From the Admin] No, you may take the RE Appraisers’ Exam first. You need to earn 120 units in real estate subjects related to RE Appraisers, though.

The topics covered in the 120 units in RE subjects for RE Brokers is different from the topics for RE Appraisers.

    Thanks!

    Thanks!

is there an online review for appraiser?

[From the Admin] There is no online review for RE appraisers. If ever an online review for REA is organized, we will publish the info online. Thanks!
  9. on 08 Apr 2011 at 2:19 pm aspiring appraiser

confirmed npo. july 31 ang appraisal exams accdg to aipo officers.

[From the Admin] Please note that the PRC website still lists May 29, 2011 as the exam date for aspiring Real Estate Appraisers and Consultants.

It would be helpful if the PRC would publish the July 31 announcement on their website.

    Thanks!

I recently passed the REB exam, and I’m now interested in taking up the exam for appraisers. I would like to know, What are the requirements to qualify me to take the appraisers exam? And do you have any information regarding Appraisers’ reviews/seminars to be conducted in Pampanga. Thank you in advance.

[From the Admin] The requirements are similar to that of Real Estate Brokers, based on the RESA Law IRR (RA 9646).

If ever we get information regarding review classes for RE Appraisers in Pampanga, we will publish it here.

    Thanks!

Good Evening , I would like to confirm if it is true the scheduled by the prc on May 29, 2011 examination for real property appraiser was re scheduled on July 31, 2011

[From the Admin] While some people have talked about this, we still haven’t seen any official announcement from the PRC…
  15. on 28 Mar 2011 at 6:20 pm Kriska Santos

    Hi everyone!

Due to changes made by PRC regarding the Appraiser’s Licensure exam (it has been moved to July 31, 2011), we would like to inform you that we are also moving our APPRAISER’S CRES on May.

Likewise, we are still deciding whether we’ll stick to 60 hours or go straight to 120 hours. Let us know if there are many appraisal companies willing to provide internship programs, that way we can assess whether there’s a need to split the 120 hours or not.

    THANK YOU!

hello, can i still get a certificate of attendance if i’ll just attend a 1 day seminar? Just for additional CPE HOURS. THANKS..

[From the Admin] Hello! Please ask the CPE review service provider how they will treat partial attendance. Thanks!
  17. on 12 Mar 2011 at 6:55 pm Charlie

if i can not avail of the registration, can i be accommodated if i will register during the seminar proper?

[From the Admin] Hi! Please get in touch with the organizers to check if there are still available slots for walk-ins. Thanks!
  18. on 09 Mar 2011 at 9:47 pm lizargon

    thanks.

but please start it as soon as possible cause may 29 is fast approaching. i know many will be interested to avail the program, my co-government employees are very much eager to take the review.

your help is so much needed.

    again, thank you very much

  19. on 07 Mar 2011 at 11:34 am lizargon

    good day
do you have appraiser’s online review?
i am interested to avail such program, hope you consider adopting one.
    tnx

[From the Admin] Hello! We don’t have an online review for real estate appraisers at the moment, but we’ll announce it here as soon as one is available. Thanks!
  20. on 03 Mar 2011 at 2:19 pm Anne

I first want to take the Licensure exam for real estate brokers. This Appraisers exam should be different from the licensure exam, right?

[From the Admin] You are correct. The topics covered in the Appraisers exam are different from those of the Real Estate Brokers’ Licensure Exam. Thanks!
  21. on 26 Feb 2011 at 4:35 pm christine

so even if you dont have experience, you can still take the appraisers exam? if so, will there be a succeeding 60hr appraiser seminar after this one to complete the 120 unit requirement?

if there is, when will this be?

[From the Admin] We don’t know when another Real Estate Appraisers’ review seminar will be conducted, so it will be better if you enroll in the available seminar while you still can.

Now what happens about the remaining balance of 60 hours or 60 units?

We haven’t seen any official announcement from the PRC. Perhaps this can be filled by 60 hours of appraisal work experience, as certified by your company. Please check first with the PRC if they are willing to accept such a certification.

You may also call the Philippine Association of Realty Appraisers (PARA) Secretariat at 813-2708.

    Thanks!

I would like to inquire about the real estate appraiser exam.thanks

[From the Admin] That last we heard is that the PRC will conduct an exam for real estate appraisers and consultants on Sunday, 29 May 2011. Thanks!
  23. on 24 Feb 2011 at 12:19 am rose

how much will it cost of attending a seminar to be a licensed sales person? and after i got my prc licensed can i now proceed to be a broker? waht are the requirements to become a broker.

[From the Admin] We haven’t seen prices yet for seminars for real estate salespersons, but just to give you an idea, the cost is around P18,000 to P22,000 for a 120-hour comprehensive real estate seminar and review for Real Estate Brokers.

If you attend a 120-unit seminar for real estate salespersons, you may need to attend a separate 120-unit seminar for real estate brokers.

If you want to become a licensed real estate broker, then we suggest you aim straight for that, instead of going the 120 + 120 route.

For the requirements to become a real estate broker (or appraiser or real estate consultant) please refer to:

    http://www.realestateseminarandreview.com/archives/prc-licensure-exam-requirements/

    Thanks!

Hello… Does the 60 hrs. Comprehensive Real Estate Seminar FOR APPRAISERS (CRES) in April 2011 can used as requirement for the application for registration w/o examination?

[From the Admin] Hi! Please get in touch with the Cesar Santos Real Estate Academy and let them know about your requirement.

While the main purpose of the CRES is to help people prepare for the real estate appraisers exam, the group of Cesar Santos can help you, a licensed real estate appraiser, who wants to register with the PRC without having to take the examination all over again.

So please get in touch with the CES Real Estate Academy.

    Thanks!

if i’d pass the appraisers exam, will it be considered as my eligibility (civil service) for government employment?

[From the Admin] It’s not being called by the PRC as a bar or a board examination. Please refer to:

    http://excell.csc.gov.ph/mread00/res-001185.html

In our opinion (and we our not lawyers), passing the real estate appraisers’ licensure exam will not automatically bestow civil service eligibility.

    Thanks!

  26. on 22 Feb 2011 at 6:04 pm paul

may i ask the requirements in taking the appraiser exam?

if i pass the brokers exam, am i qualified to take the appraisers exam even without any experience yet?

    big thanks.

[From the Admin] Based on the RESA Law IRR (RA 9646), the requirements are the same as those for the real estate brokers’ exam.

In other words, 120 units of real estate subjects. That’s why some real estate seminar providers will be offering 60 hours of real estate seminars for appraisers.

If you go this route, you will need to get a certification of 60 hours of work experience as a real estate appraiser. This is under the assumption that the 60 CRESAR + 60 OJT approach of the applicants for the real estate brokers’ exam is acceptable to the PRC.

    Thanks!
