Real Estate Seminar and Review

Here’s a quick update on the RESAR Online Review. We’ve added another quiz to the online quizzes section, and also another tutorial…

That brings the total to 11 online quizzes, where each quiz contains 20 questions. In other words, your RESAR Online Review allows you to test yourself (and get instant feedback) with the help of these 220 questions.

Quiz #11 is different compared to Quizzes #1 to #10 because the answer page now contains explanations to some of the answers.

Not only will you learn to memorize answers, you will also understand better why those were the answers.

For example, in traditional CRESARs (which you have to attend, by the way), some sample quizzes will have answers such as “None of the Above”

In the RESAR Online Review (specifically starting with Quiz #11), the explanations section will reveal to you why the answer is “None of the Above” and will show you what the actual answer is.

How’s that for deepening your knowledge about real estate concepts, right?

We’ve also added another tutorial on Documentation and Registration.

For those who enrolled earlier in the RESAR Online Review, you will have access to that new tutorial… at no additional cost. 🙂

Required Real Estate Brokers Topics

Here are the prescribed topics, as listed in Section 13 of the RESA Law IRR (RA 9646):

For Real Estate Brokers

1. Fundamentals of property ownership;
2. Code of ethics and responsibilities;
4. Real estate brokerage practice;
5. Subdivision development;
6. Condominium concept;
7. Real estate finance and economics;
11. Legal aspect of sale, mortgage and lease;
12. Documentation and registration;
13. Real property laws;

3. Legal requirements for real estate service practice;
8. Basic principles of ecology;
9. Urban and rural land use;
10. Planning, development and zoning;
14. Any other related subjects as may be determined by the Board.

The ones in bold are topics that are currently inside the the RESAR Online Review.

Please note that you will learn all those topics in the required Comprehensive Real Estate Seminar and Review (CRESAR).

The optional RESAR Online Review is here to supplement your training, so that you can learn faster and retain the information longer. It is for people who want to improve their chances of getting a better score in the real estate brokers’ licensure exams, because you will be able to take advantage of effective learning techniques.

Just to be clear, there’s no guarantee that the RESAR Online Review will cover items 3, 8, 9, 10, and 14 in the future. If ever we do, it will be a bonus to members of the web-based RESAR Online Review.
